George R.R. MartinSaju & Astrology

George R.R. Martin was born with a Gyeom (戊) 'Mu' (Yang Earth) day master. With a strong presence of Earth energy (Bikyeop 比肩 - Companion Star) in his natal chart, he appears to be a person with firm convictions, tenacity, and a sense of stability, much like a steadfast mountain. In particular, the strong Metal element (Sik-sang 食傷 - Output Star) prominently located in his month pillar (辛酉 Sin-yu) and day branch (申 Sin) indicates his delicate and elaborate expressive power and unique creative talent. He tends to excel at building complex worldviews and meticulously unraveling them. Furthermore, the absence of Wood energy (Gwan-seong 官星 - Authority Star) in his natal chart can lead to a free-spirited nature that prefers to create and unfold his own unique worldview rather than being confined by existing frameworks or authority. This innate temperament, combined with persistent effort, tends to manifest as literary prowess that leaves a deep impression on the public through vast narratives and distinctive characters.

Looking at the elemental distribution, Earth, Metal, and Fire energies are prominent. Strong energies are innate talents but can be harmful if excessive, while insufficient energies achieve balance when met with supportive environments or relationships.

Based on the steadfastness and sense of responsibility of his day master, Gyeom (戊) 'Mu', George R.R. Martin has a strong tendency to approach relationships seriously. However, due to the absence of the Gwan-seong (官星) Wood element and the strong energies of Bikyeop (比劫) Earth and Sik-sang (食傷) Metal, he tends to prefer free relationships and express his convictions and individuality strongly. While he feels a sense of responsibility towards his partner, he also desires his own space to be respected and may sometimes show an independent relationship style, asserting his will in the relationship.

For George R.R. Martin, while the Water element (水), which represents wealth for his day master Gyeom (戊) 'Mu', is not particularly strong as a single entity, his excellent creativity and expressive power, indicated by a very developed Sik-sang (食傷) (Metal 3), show exceptional ability to generate wealth. This is a 'Sik-sang Saeng Jae' (食傷生財 - Output generating Wealth) chart, where his creative work directly correlates with his wealth fortune. The strong Bikyeop (比劫) (Earth 3) may indicate wealth competition or expenses, but he tends to overcome these and achieve great success through his creations.
